Computer Generated Art
This is an introductory course for computer-generated design; this course will focus on current technology being used by professional artists as tools for enhanced image processing. You will use a variety of programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Painter to create works of art. The goal of this course is for you to gain an understanding of the important role computers play in current occupational fields in art and how it effects our every day lives. All assignments will be created on, submitted by, and graded through the use of computers.
• Large storage USB Drive (10GB+)
- nothing smaller than 8"x5" no larger than 9"x12".
- Sketchbook should not say "SKETCH/60 LB. Paper"--that paper is too light. Look for "DRAWING/70 LB. Paper" or "MIXED MEDIA/90 LB.+ Paper".
Our digital classroom will have posts about artists, assignments, tips/tricks and tutorials.
